Objectives

1. Introduce quantitative empirical legal studies
2. Present ways to develop empirical research, from the research design (planning) to collecting and coding data and the complete quantitative analysis and presentation of results.
3. Discuss the main advantages of quantitative empirical research from a methodological standpoint, in comparison to other research methods in Law and other areas (Political Science, Economics, Social Sciences, etc.)
